About This Program

HelioScope is a software program by Folsom Labs that includes all the features of PVSyst and adds the basic design functionality of AutoCAD and SketchUp, allowing solar designers to do a complete design with one package.

As a software, HelioScope offers the best of both worlds where you can use a single software to carry out both energy estimations and create beautiful 3D model designs. By combining streamlined layout tools with bankable energy simulations, HelioScope helps solar designers improve their design speeds by 5x-10x. It is a web-based tool, so there’s no software to download and you can use it from any connected computer. Instead of downloading the software or buying the program, you pay a monthly or annual fee and thus access it from any computer system by simply logging into the HelioScope website.

HelioScope’s features include 3D design, rapid proposals, bankable simulations, unlimited designs, single line diagrams, automatic CAD export, up to 5MW systems, component library, global weather coverage, PAN file support, shade reports, and much more.

HelioScope is considered to be a software that is far simpler to use compared to PVSyst.

Program Eligibility

This solar training program is ideal for you if:

  • You are aware of the basics of solar energy and solar sizing
  • You have the basic knowledge of Voltage, Current, Three-Phase power/Single Phase Power

    You are requested to have a laptop/desktop to enhance your learning experience.

Program Structure and Learning Resources

  • After registering for the course by making an online payment, your access to the program will start on the 28th of February 2021.
  • From 28th February onwards, for 3 months, you will be able to learn from the online course videos 24*7, and have your doubts cleared on your dashboard by the instructor. There are no Live/webinar sessions.
  • To support the videos, there are downloadable files, international case studies and bonus lessons.
  • Towards the end of the program, there are progress tests, case study assessments and a detailed instructor feedback.
  • A Certificate of Completion is shared with the trainees who successfully clear our program.

  • A free 30 day trial version of the HelioScope software will be shared with you.
  • There is an exclusive student and instructor dashboard for all your doubts and queries.
  • The program videos and instructor’s assistance will remain accessible for a limited period of 3 months from the start date of the program.
