This solar energy training course is part theoretical and part practical. It focuses on an EPC’s Feasibility analysis and the project management plan of a rooftop solar PV Plant
The online course is divided into 7 parts:
Part 1: Key drivers of solar rooftop projects
In this part, we will understand the key drivers in the adoption of solar rooftop projects such as subsidy/ rebates, cost saving, reduction in carbon footprint, business models, and metering technology
Part 2: Profile of a customer
In this part, we will understand how to analyze the profile of a client and understand their needs and requirements. It will help you choose the correct technology as per the customer’s needs.
Part 3: Site Survey and Rooftop Assessment
This section covers information on steps involved in the site survey, important data to be collected during the site survey, shadow analysis post-site survey (rules for shadow calculations), and calculation of the capacity of the plant that can be installed post survey
Part 4: System Selection and Component selection
This section will cover steps to be kept in mind while selecting solar modules, inverters, and estimation of capacity.
Part 5: Energy Estimation & PR Analysis
In this part you will learn about crucial parameters to be considered for energy estimation, various losses to be taken into consideration, probability values and calculation of probability values, performance ratio analysis
Part 6: Financial Analysis
This part will briefly cover financial business models, information on sensitivity analysis, and the important parameters to be considered while preparing financial models.
Part 7: Project Management Plan
In this section, we will understand the steps involved in project management, prepare GANTT charts, estimate project timelines, plan for manpower, and associated risks, and mitigation plan.
